When does MixuChat work as an OmeTV alternative?
When the goal is a browser-visible choice among 1-on-1 Video, Audio and Text, MixuChat is a relevant alternative. It is not a clone of OmeTV’s sign-in, profile, friend or moderation system.
OmeTV’s FAQ discusses signing in, profiles and adding friends, while its rules govern live video and real-time text. MixuChat’s observed public route began with communication mode rather than a visible social graph. Decide whether you want a disposable session or an account relationship that can extend beyond it.

Four rules that change ordinary behavior
Adults only
OmeTV says minors are prohibited and adults must meet the legal age in their country. If someone appears underage, leave and report; do not ask for documents or continue.
Keep a live person in frame
The rules restrict pointing the camera at screens or static material. A harmless-looking “camera check” may therefore violate the service rule. Read before testing equipment.
Visible conduct can trigger a ban
Nudity, obscene behavior, advertising and spam are among the prohibited categories. Enforcement outcome and appeal quality were not tested here.
Reporting is part of the product
The rules tell users to report violations. Locate the control before the call, and report the conduct—not assumptions about identity.

Sign-in can hide your social identity from peers and still create platform data
OmeTV’s FAQ says a Facebook identity is not shown to other users. That is useful but narrower than “anonymous”: the platform can still receive information required for sign-in and operate profiles or friend features. Separate peer visibility from the service’s own processing.
With MixuChat, our check stopped at the selector before login or permission. It cannot establish what a later step requests. On either service, inspect the exact prompt and privacy policy before linking an existing social identity.

Prepare the exit before the opener

- Move location, employer and family clues out of frame.
- Use one neutral opener; do not reward pressure with more detail.
- Leave at the first sexual, financial, coercive or underage signal.
- Afterwards, remove permissions you do not want retained.
