Is MixuChat
Actually Free?
The public match selector opened without payment in our test. The same product also lists coin packages and VIP, so “free video chat” needs a narrower, more honest explanation.

featured profileHi 👋
// what we could verify
Free entry is not the same as all-free use
We opened the public free video chat route and reached a selector for Video, Audio and Text without entering payment details.
We stopped before granting camera or microphone permission and before entering a live match. That means we cannot honestly promise how much chat time is free or which later actions consume coins.
Separately, the product catalog we checked contained multiple coin packages and a 30-day VIP item. The safest interpretation is simple: browsing and opening the selector may be free, while later use can include paid choices.
// verified versus unverified
What the word “free” covers in our check
The selector opens freely
We reached the public Video, Audio and Text choices without payment during our desktop check.
Coins are sold
The product catalog exposed multiple coin packages. A free landing screen is not the same as an all-free service.
VIP is also present
Our dated check found a 30-day VIP item, so “no subscription” would be inaccurate.
The current prompt wins
Prices and terms change. Read the amount, duration and renewal wording shown immediately before purchase.
// how to read “free”
Four questions to ask before continuing
Does “free” describe opening the page, receiving an introductory balance, starting a match, or completing a full session? Those are different claims.
If coins appear, check how many an action consumes—not only how much a package costs. If VIP appears, read its duration and renewal language. If a promotion includes free coins, check whether they expire or require an account.
Our role is to report the surfaces we observed, not to turn a dated catalog check into a permanent pricing promise.
// no dark patterns
What we don't do
The fastest way to explain the deal is to say what is not going on behind the scenes.
Do not infer from “free”
A free entry point does not prove that matching time, gifts, extensions or other actions cost nothing.
Do not rely on old screenshots
Catalogs change. Use the price and duration shown at the moment you buy.
Do not rush a checkout
Pause if the currency, renewal terms or final total are unclear.
Keep receipts
Save the confirmation and the offer terms in case you need support or a refund review.
// free vs. paid
Free vs. paid — what actually changes
This table separates what we directly reached from what would require a purchase or a live-session test. “Not verified” is intentional, not a hidden promise.
| What you can do | Free | With coins |
|---|---|---|
| Open public match screen | Verified without payment | Not required for this step |
| Choose Video, Audio or Text | Selector is visible | Later prompts may vary |
| Coin packages | Not a free item | Multiple packages listed |
| VIP | Not a free item | 30-day item found in our dated check |
| Complete live session | Not verified in this check | Depends on the prompt shown |
Always treat the live checkout as more current than this page. If the displayed offer differs from our dated notes, the displayed offer is the one to evaluate.

Free video chat questions
Is every part of MixuChat free?
No. We could open the public match selector without payment, but MixuChat also offers coin packages and a paid VIP option.
Does MixuChat sell a subscription?
Our August 26, 2026 check found a 30-day VIP item. Review the current checkout for price and renewal terms because offers can change.
What do coins pay for?
We found coin packages but did not buy them or enter a live match, so we do not guess which actions consume coins.
Will opening the match screen charge me?
We reached the Video, Audio and Text selector without payment. A later action may still require login, coins or another purchase.
